Inspiration:       

This work was inspired by the endangered black harrier nesting between the Kabeljous and Gamtoos rivers. These birds face threats brought about by, amongst other things, the wind turbines being erected everywhere in their natural habitat.

Artist Bio:           

Rossouw is an 11-year-old Grade 5 student at Jeffreys Bay Primary School. He enjoys art and dancing. He spends most of his free time painting, sketching and clay modelling. He wants to be an artist when he grows up.
