    1st Place Overall Winner

I am grateful to be able to share my experience participating in the AGAG2023 Art Competition. Winning 1st place and the People's Choice Award has been a great honor and validation of my artistic journey and proof that consistent, hard work over many years pays off. The Competition provided me a platform to showcase my talent and creativity and also to connect with like-minded individuals. I am grateful to the organizers for providing opportunities for artists like myself to be part of something bigger. I wholeheartedly recommend other artists to enter the new AGAG2024 competition. Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way, and I look forward in continuing an artistic journey with Arti.

    2nd Place Overall Winner

AGAC has really made me grow as an artist. I was only enjoying painting as a hobby from time to time, but after getting second place, it has really made me want to strive for more and push myself further than before. I highly recommend entering AGAC to all artists from any level of experience. The whole experience will make you grow as an artist, and the pure excitement from the event can have anybody giddy with anticipation. I look forward to entering again this year!

  • Monte Baunk

    Digital Art Winner

What an incredible competition and group of people to work with. The theme exploded into tons of ideas, and having your artwork seen by so many new eyes made the decision to enter in 2023 a no-brainer. I'm incredibly happy that I did, and proud to have walked away as the winner of the digital art segment!

It's an incredible platform for young artists to get a taste of the industry, and provides incredible inspiration and opportunity for seasoned artists alike. Thank you so much ARTi Gallery, and to all who made this much needed South African art competition possible. See you in 2024!

    Top 25 Finalist

I was halfway done with my painting, when someone shared this AGAC national competition with me. I thought well, it must be a sign, as I have not created something amazingly unique as this piece that reached the TOP 100, which made me truly thankful, the TOP 50 which surprised me and then the TOP 25 which humbled me. I flew up from Cape Town and had the most memorable time with my family at the Gala event. Singing along with the local artists, having pizza and wine at midnight. It was the best decision I made in 2023. Thank you to the hosts, new friends I made and fans I met. Much love

  • Elschen Schnetler

    Top 25 Finalist

Wow, what a beautiful experience the AGAC Competition was for me in 2023, filled with super excitement and eagerness to revive my dormant talents. AGAC made every day a day of inspiration and fun with their interactive Facebook posts and engaging all artists especially when some days got tough, this team got me through. Having a clear vision of my final work and working hard, I had the honour of being in the top 25 which made me realise that when you have a talent, you must use it, make it your own, because this could be just the opportunity you have always been waiting for. I am absolutely looking forward to AGAC 2024 and competing my work with hundreds of new and amazing artists and their creations.

    Top 25 Finalist

It was such a pleasure dealing with Michelle and Robert from AGAC. You delivered a great event and we were pleased to be able to view it live at home. I felt at ease that my artwork was handled with great care and the transaction of the sale went smoothly. Thanks for the professional service and great exposure. I definitely want to be part of the competition again this year.

    Entrant

My Sister was very excited to see on social media a post going around! There's an Art competition & all three Sisters entered. Was exciting as We had to re-imagine a Painting/Art of a famous artist & enter. I decided on Mona Lisa- our very own South African Modern day "Mona". We all entered our Acrylic on canvas paintings...the build-up was so exciting as we come from East side of Jhb we decided to stay over for the weekend! Making it a girls' weekend.

The Gala evening was Awesome!! All the finalist entries were on show, some Stunning Art... The finger food & drinks were superb. Was a Very well put together Competition & everyone that loves Art & painting should enter.
